SeoulTech’s Future Convergence College was selected by the Ministry of Education and National Lifelong Education Commission for the 2019 Lifelong Education on University in the Future Education (LIFE) program for the fourth consecutive year along with 23 other universities in Korea.

 

 

SeoulTech’s Future Convergence College participated in the LIFE program starting in 2016 with the goal of allowing current workers and adults to participate in lifelong educational opportunities with programs, transitioning from a one-year program to a four-year program (2+2 years) for a more stabilized undergraduate experience.
Following the selection of SeoulTech this year, the school will also receive 12 billion KRW in project support funds until 2022 for a more stabilized operation of its undergraduate efforts for lifelong education if it passes the second review stage.

 

 

The Future Convergence College has greatly contributed to university’s lifelong educational system for the past three years by receiving support from the LIFE program.

 

Future Convergence College Dean Kim Sung Gon said, “By establishing a lifelong educational system that also gives back to the local community, we hope to do our best in serving as a national university by increasing more advanced educational opportunities that result in greater developments to the local economies and communities.”
